Join us for the 18th year of Harvest Cup! Located in the beautiful seaside town of York, Maine, Harvest Cup is a tournament for boys and girls travel club teams and all-star recreation teams. Last year, over 100 teams from Maine and New Hampshire participated in this perennially sold-out event.
You need to check in at the registration tent at least ONE HOUR before your first game. Go to the registration tent at the field where you are playing your first game, and bring your entire team. You will need to provide:
SCHEDULES have been updated. DOUBLE AND TRIPLE check your game times and fields. We had a few fields that were listed incorrectly on prior schedules. http://www.yorksoccerclub.com/hcup_schedules.html
The schedule for our games is VERY tight. All teams must be prepared to play 15 minutes before their scheduled game. This means that the team will be immediately adjacent to the field. Our refs and field coordinators will be starting and stopping games on schedule. As a result, the ref and field coordinators may need to reduce the length of halves if teams are not immediately ready to play at the appointed time. WARM UPS ARE NOT PERMITTED on game fields. Each venue has space dedicated to warm up. Please help us and the refs keep the schedule moving by entering and exiting your fields quickly.
Parking will be VERY tight at Bog and Village fields. We are encouraging all teams to carpool or shuttle to the tournament. You may want to consider dropping cars at the park & ride, located on Spur Road just off the York exit on Route 95.
We mean it!
Our refs and field officials will be strictly enforcing Soccer Maine’s Zero Tolerance policy. All teams will receive a copy of the policy upon check in. We want this tourney to be a positive experience for all involved. Please ensure that your players, fans, and coaches arrive with huge amounts of positive attitude.
You can find York field directions here.
We put in hundreds of volunteer hours to create a huge amount of youth soccer during this weekend. Our goal is simple: lots of kids, playing lots of soccer, and having lots of fun! Please help us by setting a tone of sportsmanship and respect for our officials.
Many of you will have some spare time in York. There is lots to do in our beautiful town! Try visiting the Nubble Lighthouse; walking on a beach; navigating Zach’s Corn Maze; or visiting the Stonewall Kitchen factory store. Our field coordinators can give you even more recommendations. Just ask!
